WHO IS
Cristina Nuñez is a professional artist-photographer who has been taking self-portraits since 1988 as a form of self-therapy, to explore her creative identity and to raise her self-esteem.
She has held workshops on her unique self-portrait method at San Vittore (Milan's prison), FORMA International Center of Photography Milan, the University of Bologna, the Rudolf Steiner school for adolescents, the University of Turku, Finland, the Citilab Cornellà in Spain, the Women's Health Center in Brooklyn, the Institute for the Arts in Psychotherapy in New York City among others.
Her work as an artist-photographer has been internationally awarded, shown in many exhibitions and published in several photography books. See www.cristinanunez.it
